Inside a Veneer Case, Visit by Visit
Visit one: Dr. Shedd lightly shapes the front of the teeth, takes a digital scan, and fits a temporary. The lab builds your custom porcelain shells. Visit two: he checks the fit and color, then bonds each veneer in place and polishes the edges. Cosmetic bonding compresses that into a single visit, since the tooth-colored resin is shaped and cured chairside. Whitening runs as one supervised in-office session. Invisalign moves through a planned sequence of clear trays, each worn about two weeks, with periodic checks at the office.
Who Each Step Suits
Veneers, bonding, and whitening fit you when your teeth and gums are healthy and the concern is cosmetic: staining, a chipped edge, a worn surface, a small gap.
